Belarusian mezzo-soprano, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus.
Born in Minsk, she graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music. Since 2002, she has been a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, where she has performed roles including Carmen ("Carmen"), Amneris ("Aida"), Marina Mnishek ("Boris Godunov"), Laura ("La Gioconda" by Ponchielli), Marguerite ("The Damnation of Faust" by Berlioz), Martha ("Khovanshchina"), Lyubasha ("The Tsar's Bride"), Konchakovna ("Prince Igor"), Koshcheyevna ("Kashchey the Immortal" by Rimsky-Korsakov), Olga ("Eugene Onegin"), Fenena ("Nabucco"), Suzuki ("Madama Butterfly"), and others.
In 2009-2010, she was an artist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia's Young Opera Program. She made her debut on that stage in 2010 as the Youth in Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh and the Maiden Fevronia". She also performed at the Bolshoi Theatre as Carmen, Lyubasha, Olga, Fenena, Laura ("The Stone Guest" by Dargomyzhsky), and Polina ("The Queen of Spades").
In 2011, she made her Italian debut at the Teatro Massimo (Palermo) as Laura Adorno ("La Gioconda") and opened the season at the Opéra de Nice (France) as Marguerite in Berlioz's "The Damnation of Faust."
In 2012, she became a guest soloist at the Latvian National Opera; in 2013, she made her Metropolitan Opera debut as Maddalena in a new production of "Rigoletto". At the Met, she also performed the roles of Olga ("Eugene Onegin"), Sonyetka ("Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk"), and Giulietta ("The Tales of Hoffmann"). In 2015, she made her Royal Opera House Covent Garden debut as Olga.
She has also performed at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, the Estonian National Opera, the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, the Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), the Teatro San Carlo (Naples), the Hamburg State Opera, the Salzburg Festival, and the Paris National Opera.
